I was taking photos at one of our local libraries which will be in my other blog on Tuesday, but inside there was a display of little miniature scenes all done by one lady (whose name I forgot to write down).
This appears to be a little quilting studio or quilt store.....so cute!
I just love this! Click to make the photos larger and see the details.
The little quilts on the wall are mostly not in scale, but the overall effect is very cute.
I love this little quilt frame!
A sewing machine by the stairs.
Upstairs, another sewing machine, ironing board, quilt magazines, a comfy chair....Hey!....I want to move in here to do my quilting! Too bad that I won't fit!

You just gave me an idea for the 2 old dollhouses I still have. These were done very creatively with just the Quilt Shop Theme. I could make one similar to that and the other a knitting shop......Thanks for posting these Mary.
Brenda: Be sure to show photos after you do it! I used to have a dollhouse and loved making miniature stuff for it, but it was a very cheap one and I eventually threw out the house. I still have the stuff that went in it and would love to do smaller boxed scenes similar to this. A quilt shop would be fun. I had made some tiny crossstitch stuff and I think I made a crocheted bedspread for the house, but never a little quilt. I am fascinated by miniature quilts, but have never tried one.
Mary, oh my gosh! You made me remember when you, me and Dorothy would make "doll houses" and furniture out of cloth covered Kleenex boxes. What fun! Thank you for that memory.
Love,
Vicky
Oh, that is the CUTEST thing I have ever seen! I would LOVE to have a dollhouse like that! Did you make it???? How long did it take? That is so wonderful! Every quilt shop should have one on display! So, how have you been? I've been away and then had my grandson here, and haven't been on here much, and I have a lot of catching up to do!
No, I didn't make this, but wish that I had! It really was cute. I saw it on display at one of our libraries.
