Bella's Butterfly quilt......2008

I've made quite a few baby quilts, but this one was special since it was for my very cute great niece, Isabella.......known as Bella. I was wanting to try this butterfly pattern, so this seemed like a good chance to do so.
They were a bit harder than I thought they would be......lots of pieces to keep track of and getting the center straight gave me some problems. I decided 4 would be plenty!

Here is Bella with her quilt the day I gave it to her. Isn't she adorable?

At the last minute I found a beautiful flowered print for the back. Probably would have used it in the front, it I had found it sooner!

I managed to do some simple machine quilting on it.
I need things like this to challenge me instead of sticking with the easy things.

Well i think Bella is about the cutest little girl, and she really makes your quilt look more beautiful then it already was. Nice choice

I love that quilt... and Bella is adorable. You did such a fantastic job with the piecing and quilting. I know she will treasure when she grows up.

Lilli &amp: Thank you. A cute baby makes any quilt look good :-)

W. Latane Barton: Thanks! If I ever get confident about the quilting part, I'll be happier!

Hi mary,
I hope you don't mind me posting here as i don't see an email address for you. But should you ever get back to this part of the country and your husband loves logging stuff, there is a place called Collier Logging Museum near Chiliquin Or just south of Bend. here is that website http://members.tripod.com/~rexs13/Collier.htm
It is very interesting with all sorts of logging stuff. Great area for camping and fishing .
