I finally finished all my "snowballs" and got the top sewn together for my "Snowballs All Year Round" quilt.
The name is because I made crazy quilted "snowballs" and then appliqued them to traditional snowball blocks. There is one for each month of the year.
I'm too short to stand up and hold it.
Mike holding it for me :-) Guess that tells me about how big it is.....he's 6'4".
The bottom half.....
.....the top half.
Now I have to get it quilted by someone. I don't think I will add more borders around it, but may change my mind after I look at some fabrics. I need to get backing fabric for it, too. It was fun, but I am tired of hand sewing for now......I'm ready for a nice normal quilt project I can piece on the sewing machine!

Mary, I really love this...and showed it to Roger and he thought it was neat, too. I told him you have the best ideas!
Thanks, Rose! I just wish I had the quilting ability to go with the ideas :-) I can see things in my head, but don't always execute the idea well. I'm pretty happy with this, so far. Got to find something colorful for the back.
Oh, it's just wonderful, Mary! Really LOVE how it turned out. I know what you mean about hand sewing...I get tired of it easily as well. Keep going back to that panel I'm working on, but it seems to never get done! :-)
