100 years, 100 quilts...Arizona Centennial Exhibition

I'm in Tucson, Arizona!  We decided one cold day to go to the Arizona History Museum.  It is a wonderful place and when we got there we discovered they were having a special Arizona quilt exhibit for their centennial year.  Wow....what a great show!  100 quilts by Arizona quilters with stories about Arizona.  Here are some of the quilts.  I will try to put more in a slide show when I get back home.  Enjoy!

Oh, wow, these are wonderful. I think I need to hang out with you more if you luck into finding shows like this by accident.

Oh, Mary--they are gorgeous! I can't wait to see them in person! Hope you don't have jet lag! Have a great, restful day!

Rose: It was a great show! I was thrilled to stumble on it just because Mike wanted to go to the museum. It's a really nice museum, too.

Marie: Be sure you don't miss it! The quilts are great and each one had a story. I would like to have spent even more time looking at them. Should have photographed all the signs by each quilt for the information, but that takes a lot of effort and time. We are back home and I'm even half unpacked :-)
