With the quilt show over and out of the way, I'm heading full tilt into my Christmas stocking frenzy.....I am making 4 stockings for my sister's family. I made one for her granddaughter last year and now they all want one.

Trims and lace and ribbons everywhere I look....

Peter's in progress.....I still have to do hand stitching and fancy stuff on all of them once the fabric and lace are in place.
3 in progress.....Mary's didn't photograph well, but it will be beautiful when it is done! 1 more to get the fabric on and then I can relax and do the fun stuff.....beads, ribbon embroidery, crazy stitching, buttons......

Sandy: I know what you mean....and these aren't gifts...my sister commisioned them from me, so I still need presents, too!
Really enjoyed looking through your blog. I have done a small amount of patchwork & quilting in the past but nothing to the scale you've been putting together.
Very inspirational.
Hope you've nearly completed the Christmas stockings.
I have some made up from a previous year but they are waiting for cross stitch names to be added. Maybe I'll use them this Christmas.
